Sumtoy Base Question

Are the Sumtoy bases universal?  Example, will the same base fit Benelli, Franchi, Remington?  Also I noticed with the Sumtoy base mounted on an 870 there is a gap between the base and top of receiver, it tightens down snug but you can see there is a gap.  Thanks

7shooter, when and if you find out the answer to your question, keep me posted. I might set up one of my 12's for next spring with Williams base.

They are not.   Some will fit others but.    Now you will have a gap on the flat spot.

I have a Nova 20 gauge and an 870 20 gauge.  Ordered bases for each of them from William 2 weeks ago.  They were certainly not interchangeable.  They are fantastically well made per my gunsmith who installed them for me and he is a skilled machinest.

Got my answer from William and as posted on here there are different bases for different guns.  They are a fantastic base and the best customer service.
