I know there are many to choose from but was wondering were to start. I have a mossberg 20 with a compnchoke and for the last few yrs i been shooting the old remington hevishot 5 with good sucess. The only problem is im down to 7 shells so have to find another shot that compares with what ive been shooting! Im kicking myself in the butt for not ordering more of the rem hevishot yrs back!!

I was in the same boat in 12 gauge (running out of old Remington Hevi) and was advised to start with the Hevi 13.  I set up my daughter's youth with a Remington full choke and Federal HW #7. Not sure if the Federal wad would be safe in a Comp choke, as I think they are all ported.

My daughter's is very sweet at 30 yards and in.  I did not want an overly tight choke as I did not want her missing close birds. With your setup I would consider #6 or #7 Hevi.  The #7 blew a 1x4 off the back of my target at 30 yards.  Obliterated it in the center of the shot.
Psalms 118v24: This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Federal Heavyweight #7s.The best 20 ga turkey load on the market. Id probably try a different choke though. You wont look back to hevishot 5s after shooting some HW 7s beleive me.

Agreed. Hands down the best factory load in the 20. Sumtoy really has that shell figured out. Give William a call. Trulock makes a good choke for that shell as well.

It's only kill so far was 21# 1 1/2" and 1 5/8"10 1/2" beard lol
Those other numbers don't mean near as much to me. I patterned it at 40yds it looked like a good uniform pattern so I took it the next mornin and killed my biggest eastern to date.
