Model 1300

I have a Remington model 783 .270 that I just bought off my uncle. I'm going red tag hunting hear in the next month or two. I will be stalking a lot so I wanted to know if I should buy a Bipod or not. And if so with one? Under $30
"Stop flinching it's just a 3 1/2 inch Magnum" said the old man.

Turkey and I have a love hate relationship.

I'd say not to buy a bipod. but go with a good set of shooting sticks. You can use them as a walking stick while stalking as well as a steady rest when a shot presents itself. That's just my opinion.

Not sure of the brand but I think they call it a "Trigger Stick" , adjustable monopod, bipod and tripod.  You pull a "trigger " on it and it quickly adjusts to your needed shooting height.
The Monopod version might be good for what you are doing.

I like shooting sticks to...just thinking the monopod might be quicker to get into position.

Go on Varmint Al's webpage. He has instructions to make shooting sticks(bi fur pod). It's not rocket science but his formula for getting the proper length will help a lot. I've made a couple sets they work great and cost nothing.
