I bought a super x pump 26" barrel field compact shotgun last year. I never did get to tinker with it much before I sold it to my buddy. Tying to help him out. What choke load combo are any of you fellas using with the invector plus barrel? Any help will be great. Thanks in advance

It really all depends on the brand of choke and how it's designed. Chokes with different exit diameters by different makers can pattern pretty much the same. It's all about the internal geometry of the choke tube.

For example, the design engineer for the Invector Plus barrels recommends a .640 choke. http://www.browning.com/products/catalog/accessories/detail.asp?fid=003J&cid=113&tid=38773

I'm seeing excellent results with a variety of exit diameters, depending upon the brand.

Thanks,
