opening day success

this 8 pt came after two does at 7.15am.the does hit the pasture then a hard right back in the direction tha came from and the buck stared in my direction about 125 yards away where he had heard by soft grunts earlier.with him looking in my direction i dared not reach for my elm shooting stick so i put the 300wby mag to my shoulder,squeezed tight against my torn rotator cuff and squeezed the trigger.obvious,hit and he went about 30-40 yards.i tore my arm and shoulder up july 10th from a ladder fall and still having problems with shoulder but decided shoot first and worry about the pain later.it hurt! but i felt great
