I'm new to the world of trumpets I have a wild talker and a few of champ63's cane calls and champ63s are full of turkey. Who are y'all's favorite trumpet call makers?

We are fortunate that there are several outstanding trumpet makers around. I have trumpets from most of the guys listed above and they make some fine calls. You might also add Herb Hornstra, Ralph Permar, and Marlin Watkins to the list.

Permar

Watkins
MKW (Mike Williams)
Daryl Slaton

I enjoy hunting with all of them and have killed birds with most of them.
In my oponion they all sound Turkey but all sound different. All great call makers.

Frank Hegler certainly belongs in the best of the best.
A quality paddle caller will most run itself.  It just needs someone to carry it around the woods. Yoder409

Any of those listed are great makers and you won't go wrong with any of them. I would add Kevin Lynch to the wingbone list. It's addictive once you start collecting them, one more will always be your motto. Good luck!!

I have several wingbones, Ken Morgan's Spanish Dagger Yelper and a L.F. Cox trumpet.  I like them all.

Welcome to the forum Jordan!  I have trumpets from several listed here and they are all excellant. They all run different and have their own voice. I hope to have one of everybody's listed here in the future and still stay married,  ha!  We are lucky to have access and get to know these great call makers thru this site.. Good guys with incredible talent.  Just go ahead and get one of each. You can't go wrong.
