Just ordered one for my son in the zebra wood it sounds great .Supposed to be a Christmas gift but its going to be hard to wait that long .Mr Rye makes a great call and great customer service .

agreed i just got a ceramic in a walnut pot and slate in a ambrosia maple pot and they sound great.

I've known Wendell since we were invaded by ducks...long story.  Anyway I have a call or two of his and will probably add some more to my collection.

I've got many Lights Out pots in all surfaces and wood combos and recommend them without hesitation. Wendell is a great guy!!

I have a Mahogany/Aluminum as well as a Shedua/Copper made by Wendell. Both are fine calls!
