I have one of each dipped and matte black. I don't think the turkeys care but my BPS dipped in obsession looks way cooler than my black 870. :camohat:

I don't have a more gun specific picture available at the moment, but I don't have any camp on my SPR100. I never worry about the colors of the gun, but sometimes I worry about light reflecting off of the more polished finishes. A matte finish seems like it would be more important than color IMO.

I only buy Black firearms. Never had a problem with my Matte Black Benelli Nova, My 2 hunting buddy's use a Browning Wood/Blued and Benelli Wood/Blued. They also never have had a problem.
Why shoot a 3.5"? Because they don't make a 4".

I don't own any kind of camo firearm. My main gun in the spring is a matte/wood 870 express (see below).  I also use an all black 11-87 when turkey hunting in the fall.

I have a Browning BPS NWTFF edition that I 've killed many turkeys with. This year I'm using a Remington 870 express with laminate stock.  I bought a mattte finish 23" turkey barrel and using a .665 jellyhead choke.  I'm shooitng 3" magblends and killed 3 birds with it this year.  Absolutely love the gun.

don't think the camo on a gun makes a bit of difference rather than rust protection

I killed my gobblers this year with my new pick up from the spring. No problem whatsoever....
