What gun do you have to put it on, What size shot do you intend to shoot, Not recommended for steel or hevi-shot

Depending on the gun and size of shot to determine usage      http://kicks-ind.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=Kicks&Category_Code=GobblinThunder

Also appears that shell size 3 1/2" or 3" makes a difference also.  Based on that chart for my SX3 I couldn't use a .665 kicks,  In a Briley I use .665 with #5's and get great results, Must be something with Kicks chokes.

Stoeger 3500 is what I was thinkin of tryin it on.

Looks like I can shoot a #4 3" an #5 3.5" with .665 if I read that chart right. I didn't even know that chart was available.
Thanks a bunch.

You'll get better patterns in that gun with a Kick's .655.  And you can shoot Hevi-Shot thru it with no problems.   :OGturkeyhead:

I have a Benelli SBE II that I shot #6 Hevi 3" with Gobblin' Thunder .655. That thing shot gorgeous patterns with that setup. I heard to not shoot Hevi through the choke so I called Kicks to get it right from the horses' mouth. The first time I called they said they don't recommend it but it would be o.k. The next year I made the same call and they said no, don't shoot hevi. through that choke. I called one more time the next year and they said don't shoot Hevi through it...I shot a lot of ammo through it in the years preceding those calls and during the year they said it was o.k. and it didn't seem to hurt anything...That being said, I wouldn't take the chance. Worse case somebody get their face blown off. Next worse, you ruin a bbl. Best case nothing happens but you always have that wonder if it's coming apart on the next shot...

Sounds like I need to trade it for a 655 or just get me a sumtoy.
