I had to have my front tooth pulled 2 days ago and am going to have to have the other pulled next week. I told them I didn't want a plate cuz I have spent 23 years learning to run a mouth call and I'm used to how everything feels and I was exactly where I wanted to be in my mouth calling. Well I found out a bridge was going to be right at $3000 which I do not have. I don't know whst to do. I csnt very well go around without my front teeth, but at the same time I don't want my calling to suffer neither. It seems to be a lose lose situation for me.
Here's my question, to the guys thst have plates, did your calling go downhill when you got the plate?
What I mihht do is get a plate for now and save for a bridge, but I hate to spend a few hundred for a partial that I'm just gonna end up throwing away. Like i said it's a lose-lose.
Hell i can't even play my trumpet right now. I put thr stop right where I got that damn tooth pulled and now it has more of a horn sound than a good true turkey sound. This sucks
