When do turkeys water?

I can't figure it out, seems pretty random. Dove and quail are pretty easy to pattern, but not turks.

I have the understanding they get most of their water from the moisture in the plants the consume.

Here in TX, they seem to like to water right before, or right after visiting a  feeder, but I've seen them at watering holes all times of the day.

They might, but there sure are a lot of footprints around the ponds in areas I hunt...

I have never seen them water though?  I would guess during breeding time that it varies more than other times of the year (as the birds are concerned with other issues).
Did I do that?

Fly fishermen are born honest, but they get over it.
