This morning i set up about 125yds. from a nice gobbling bird. These birds have been hunted hard so i gave him a couple tree calls and waited till he hit the ground. I like to poor the calling on but not for these birds, i gave him some soft yelps and in about 10 min. i see him looking for me inside the woods, he was on the edge of my max range so i give him some soft clucks and purrs and he turns and heads my way, he gets 15 yds closer and gets a load of 8.5 Tss and another Tn. bird is down. Hunting has been tough this year, but i enjoy chasing them. Good luck chasing those longbeards.    18.5lbs  9in beard 7/8 in Sharpe spurs.

Genesis 27:3 - Now then, get your weapons—your quiver and bow—and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.
