Went to check cams today and set up a blind to take my sons.  Got a couple neat pictures that I wanted to share.

First is what I hope to be in front of me on opening day.

This guy still carrying his antlers!

And a beautiful smoke colored hen.  Really wish it was a tom!

Genesis 27:3 - Now then, get your weapons—your quiver and bow—and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.

May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?
If attacked by a mob of clowns, go for the juggler.

Why does that spike still have antlers?
I love golf.  It keeps a lot of people out of the turkey woods.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

I've been running game cam pics for years. In the spring, I usually always get a mix of hard horned small bucks, bucks that just dropped their antlers, and bucks that are already growning back their antlers in velvet. Also, I just got back from visiting Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. The young bull elk there were still hard horned. The bigger bulls either had just dropped their antlers or were already growing them back.

Why shoot a 3.5"? Because they don't make a 4".
