Yesterday I had the honor

...of meeting up with Mr. Marlin Watkins while he was nearby hunting on a friends farm.
I had purchased a trumpet from Mr. Watkins about a year ago and knowing that he would be "in the neighborhood" for a few days I asked if he would be willing to meet up and give me a few pointers on running his yelper.
I also had the privilege of running Mr. Watkins personal Snakewood and Butternut box call. Trust me that is one FINE little box!
