835 w/20" bbl choke and load opinions

I used to shoot 3.5" 2.25 oz #6 H13 through a Jellyhead and killed a lot of turkeys with that set up.   A few years ago I started loading TSS through an Indian Creek .720.  I want to go back to commercial ammo and will probably go back to H13 #6 but was debating about trying Mag. Blend.  Just looking for opinions on either load and choke preference.  Have enough tss for the season but might try to get something else just to try and fill a tag or two with.

When i had mine, i shot an ic .675 with the hevi 3.5 7 shot. Would put 325 plus ina 10 inch circle.

Thanks guys.  I'm going to go back to the 3.5" 2.25 oz. Hevi 6's.  I'm going to try an IC .675" choke as well to compare with my Jellyhead.  I've heard others say that they weren't happy with the newer Hevi 13's though?  I shot them up until 3 years ago.  Have they changed since then or are they referring to these vs. ones from further back than that?

I would be interested in your findings. I just bought a 20" 835 and have a Jellyhead on the way. I will probably just keep hunting with my Encore until I get a chance to pattern the 835.

Do most people shoot 3.5" from the 835s?  I have killed about 25 turkeys and all have been with 3" shells. Is the pattern improvement worth the recoil (not so worried about my shoulder, but it has to be harder on the Fastfire over time). Are there other advantages that I am missing?  Of the turkeys I have killed only about 3 or 4 total have been closer than 20 yards OR farther than 40 yards. So, about 90% of my hunting opportunities will probably continue to be between 20-40 yards. Are people using the 3.5" shells just in case they misjudge distance and need a little extra security, or is it because 200 in 10" isn't good enough when you can get 300? I have to admit that 300 would give you a ton of confidence on a 'normal' 30ish yard shot!
The most I have ever put up is 220ish with my 20" encore with 3" MagBlends, which I think is awesome for a gun that is 35" long and weighs less than 6 pounds.

MTS - sorry for not responding earlier - it's been a busy few days. In my opinion, you do NOT need to shoot 300 plus patterns if your shots are less than 40 yards.  I handload tss and actually am switching loads that currently shoot 320 to more open loads as most of my shots are under 40 as well.

Thanks. I think I'm going to try 3" HeviShot 2oz #6, first.
I would love to be able to shoot TSS, but I'm not set up to handload shotgun, just rifle.
The other thing that would concern me about TSS is that my eyes aren't what they used to be and I would have a hard time seeing those little #9s when cleaning the bird. It's hard enough to get my wife to eat the deer and turkey that I kill. If she broke a tooth, I might be sleeping outside for a few days!!
