I live at the southern tip of Illinois and am really thinking about an out of state trip next year. I have been invited to west TN on a private land hunt and may do that but where would ya'll suggest a good place to go within a days drive from here that has some good public land ?

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

Genesis 27:3 - Now then, get your weapons—your quiver and bow—and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.

Do you have a location in KS for Rio's?  I'm headed to Florida early spring but want to go somewhere else after.
