What would you consider the perfect turkey hunting vest? Be specific like how many call pockets, what kind of pockets, type of seat, etc.

Why shoot a 3.5"? Because they don't make a 4".

Broke in my new Tater II this weekend...sat ALL day on it and never got a butt-ache..absolutely love it...  very comfortable fit...they do run large in size, though.. got more pockets than I need, which is a good thing.... do not mistake the II for the III..sent the III back to Cabela's..

For my taste its the Primos Gobbler.

I would love the tactical tatr 2 with self supporting stadium seat like the redhead instead of the kickstand thing

Cabelas Tactical TaterII is the best I've seen.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

love my cabelas tactical more vest

Hs strut s.u.v. First and only turkey vest I've ever used, so I don't have anything to compare it with. Best part was I got it on clearance after season at Walmart for $20 a couple years ago. I  should have bought 2 cause I can't find them anywhere now. Works great, but I'm going to put a thicker seat pad on it, and I wish It had a better way of putting strikers in it, but all in all I really like it.

Check out knight's hunting products. They have made a vest called the hands free that is awesome. It incorporates a strap in the shoulder that holds the butt of your stock in place and a retractable kneepad/forestock rest. it's got a comfortable seat and back pad as well as specialty pockets galore. I will own one soon.

My perfect vest, would have the following.... nice comfy seat and back support, room for about 5 or 6 pot calls, 8 or 10 strikers, a couple box calls, mouth call holders, a couple of holders for locator calls, room for water and snacks, big pouch for decoys, pockets for gloves, face mask, etc... and comfortable shoulder straps. All of this with easy access.  I am currently use the Old Tom Time and Motion vest and it has most of this but no one vest is perfect, always room for improvement.

I currently have the same vest as you, I love the seat/backrest just don't like the pockets in it.

Also does anyone know of a turkey vest made in Mossy Oak Break-Up Infinity?

I have the Cabela's Tat'r vest also but it's the original..I'd like to have the one with the kickstand on it...just can't justify retiring the old Tat'r yet.
