935 mossberg question, need help.

I had a friend ask me today if a Blackhawk spec ops gen.2 stock would work with his 935 Mossberg, I told him I didn't know but would post it up on OG and the guys on there would know. So if you can help me give me a answer please.

No, it will only work with a pump.  The Autuloader has a tube and action spring running back thru the full length of the stock.  What will work is a Choate Mark 5 pistol grip stock with one 3/4" spacer.  It requires one or more spacers for the recoil pad to clear the spring tube.  It isn't spring recoil reduction like the Spec Ops but it has a good quality recoil pad and the pistol grip allows the hand to absorb a lot of the recoil taking some off the shoulder.  Just the control the pistol grip gives you over the gun makes it seem like it recoils less.

Mossberg sells the 935 pistol grip turkey model with this exact stock so you can go to the Mossberg website and see what it looks like on the gun.
