Just wondering how many arkansas boys are out there any how yall have been doing in recent years with the so called low numbers. I hunt NE Arkansas and have had some great season in my area recently. I feel as if our turkey numbers are as good as ever in my area. Please chime in with where your at and how you have been doing in recent years.
Thanks Andrew

I hunt in grant county and the last 2 years have been good!

I'm in greene county. I have got my 2 birds 9 of the last 10 seasons with the last 3 seasons taking me less than 10 total hours of hunting to do so. Pretty much the same story for most I talk to in my area that know what they are doing.

I have killed birds but there are way less around than ten years ago. Hunt Conway and Perry county.

Have a camp in chicot county. Haven't hunted past few yrs bc the MS river floods took a toll on the flock. We had a 1 bird limit last yr and this yr. Saw a good many birds this fall while deer hunting so might make a weekend trip to try em.

Im out of Jonesboro and we have definitely had less birds in the last 5 years on the properties I hunt. I've still killed my share but there's no way I can say its the same it was 5-10 years ago

Gold Spur

Most of my hunting is done in Lincoln county and over the past five years the turkey population has defiantly declined. On a high note, a lot of birds were seen over the past deer season.

Hunt the Quachitas & lower Ozarks on public land..  Have been killing them, but will say in many areas it has been more of a grind to kill them of late.  Less turkeys and more hunters.  I like the challenge.
