My nephew shot a nice bird on Saturday. It was his first time ever hunting. The bird was a double beard with  10 in. and 2 in. beards. It weighed just under 19lbs. with one in. spurs!!!! His shot was at twenty yards and when he gobbled out at fifty, I thought Zac was going to hyperventilate. He dropped him with one shot. A new turkey hunter is born!!!!!

Congrats to your nephew, especially after the rotten thing that happened before your hunt. Good job getting him a bird!
