Ran some of the Longbeards down the barrel today!

Purchased a box of the Longbeard XRs yesterday and had a clear afternoon today, so I figured I would try to pattern them. Let me just say that I was impressed. I shoot a Mossy 935 22" barrel with a Sumtoy .675 and normally use Hevi 13 3.5-2.25-#7s with incredible results. However, with all of the talk of the wad change and sub-optimal results, I figured it couldn't hurt to try the Winnies. At 68 degrees, the 3.5 -2-#6s put 201 and 208 in a 10" circle at a taped 40yds! And I still have 8 left in the box, where I would have only had 3 left of my Hevi-13s. Financially, it is a win, win. Still have my HTL loads and will probably start the season with them, but at least I know there won't be much of a fall-off after they are gone.
