IC BDS choke tight when screwing in

I purchased a IC 660 choke last year and it has always been super tight screwing in. I do have the correct threads for my gun. Was just wondering if it should be that tight. I have a Undertaker also that is pretty easy screwing in. There is no problem shooting it, throws good patterns. Does anyone that have this choke have similar problems?

I bought a .710 for #4 buckshot from them a few years ago that would not go into my 835. I had a .675 that worked fine. Called them and they shipped me another .710 with the same results. Steward then turned one down a few thousandths on the neck and sent it to me and it fit. Can't say what was up with it, he said some guns have slightly different tolerance in the barrels. I never mic'ed the chokes. If you are unhappy with it thought give them a call and I think they will take care of you.

Not unhappy with it, but was just wondering if others had the same problem and if it damages my threads. If it shoots fine, im not too too worried about it. The turkeys dont like it much!

As long as it isn't difficult to turn it, I like a little snugness. A choke that wobbled a little going into the barrel would worry me greatly. Call them. Give them a chance to work with you. Any good company should.
