Do you use your wrist or finger movement?

Both.  Fingers for soft calling and purrs, then my wrist when I need to get some volume out of a pot call.  Actually both wrists as I work the pot and the striker simultaneously when I'm trying to strike birds long distance.
A quality paddle caller will most run itself.  It just needs someone to carry it around the woods. Yoder409
Over time...they come to learn how little air a good yelper actually requires. ChesterCopperpot

depends what call....

slate, could be wrist or finger, never payed attention really. I have been loving the wingbone call for the past year or so, and they double as a great striker too.

That's the way I do it but I do notice there is a little movement in my wrist.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

A little of both depending on the volume and the call.

Both...even when using a mouth call.  ;)
