Hey guys! Long time no see!

It's about that time of year for us turkey hunters and we have a neat new shell to play with and a new choke from Primos to check out! I have read other posts about this choke already. It almost seems that the "new" Jellyhead Maximum is nothing more than the old Jellyhead with some green writing, green rings and black TI coating. However when I spoke to the rep today, he also mentioned that the taper in the tube is longer than the old Jellyhead. So I am going to assume that this will cause the payload to be compressed longer.

If this is true, longer compression with the TI coating could bring us some great results. Only problem is getting one...

I just got done checking out this choke buddy since you were telling me about it on the phone the other day.  Nice looking choke.  Hey and it was great talking to you.

This is the choke they were probably talking about.

If you look at the old specs of the jellyhead and new specs of this new tube they are all .005 tighter than the original.

The Remington chokes are the same.... I have a Jelly .660 right now, so unless the taper is longer in the new tube, it is nothing more than the old model prettied up.
