New (to me) 835

Picked up this one today.
Mossberg 835 24" barrel in mossy oak breakup with the Mossberg factory choke in it. Gave it a good cleaning and ready to start throwing some patterns.

Congratulations. Those guns are just hard to beat for patterns. They've stood the test of time.

P.S. I noticed you said you've given it a good cleaning. The very best thing you can do to that gun to maximize performance is to "deep clean" the bore.

My 835 is the model the year after the basic brown green and tan pattern.  I think its realtree gray.

Been using it since early 90s I guess and it shoots as good today as it did when I bought it.  Great gun!!!

I have The real tree green 1st cammo edition. I think mine shoots better now then it did back then. Because.. I'm Old Gobbler EDJAMACATED now
