Well, I have been shooting Darton bows for years.  The other day my string broke and my Darton ended up in three pieces.  Had nothing to do with the bow itself.   Now that I am in the market for a new bow I was thinking of going to a new brand.  Was thinking of the Mathews Creed or PSE Evo, then came across some articles about the Mission Ballistic and what a nice bow it is.  Fast, quiet, light, etc with a much nicer price tag.  Has anyone had any experience with the Mathews Mission line or the Mission Ballistic itself?

I shoot a Hoyt Spider 34 and  love it, but I have a buddy that shoots the Mission Ballistic. He tells me  its the best bow he has ever shot. God knows he has shot alot of bows. From what I hear you can't go wrong. I think bows are alot like anything else, its what YOU like. Good Luck with finding what you like.

I shoot a mission thats about 5-6 years old. Had it 4 years. It has no model, just mission. I was told that mathews uses limbs from 2-3 years ago to make them. They can sell mew mission bows alot better than old mathews. I don't remember where I got that info. If somebody has alot of experience with mathews they may know more about them.

I bought an Elite Answer this winter and after being an avid Hoyt shooter and most recently a Bowtech man before that, I have to say this is the best bow I have ever shot.  It won't touch a PSE speed wise, but for my bowhunting purposes here in the mountains of PA, speed is not as important as in some parts of the country.  The Elite is the smoothest drawing and quietest bow I have ever shot and with the 80% let-off it feels like you could hold it for days at full draw which is perfect for bowhunting.  I would definitely recommend at least shooting one before you make any decisions.  The price tag hurts a little bit, but they are well worth the money in my opinion.

I shoot a mission eliminator 2 (new in 09) and have been very pleased with it. They are Mathews quality with half the price tag. I have a used Mathews switchback ld for sale at a great price if you are interested. I can't shoot it because I have a short draw length. Shoot me a pm if you want some details.
