Aluminum Pot Call Question
May 28, 2013, 03:01:03 PM
Aluminum is one of my favorite surfaces for a pot call. Most of the calls I've used have a black anodized surface with a glass soundboard. I'm thinking about buying another aluminum and have a few questions.
Is there a difference in black and green anodized surfaces?
What difference will a slate or corian soundboard make compared to a glass soundboard?

I really like the slate soundboard but have never tried a corian soundboard so I can't help there. The slate with tame the call some. I like the tone of aluminum over slate. The one I hunt with is a green anodized aluminum surface that I got off of Stumpy a long time ago. it's a double sided call . I have also used the Brookside Game Call black anodized aluminum. It was a little to slick the 1st batch I got but the 2nd batch was great.
