Billy Buice Trumpets

My father and I did a blade show a few weeks back and had the opportunity to stop by our friend Billy Buice`s place to pick up a couple of trumpets we had on order. Mine is the stabilized green yard maple that we got from Darrel Gibson. My dad stabilized the piece for me. It has a buffalo horn and a snakewood mouthpiece. It plays so easy and has an awesome sound. The trumpet he made up for my dad is a super nice piece of figured olivewood. He did the ferrell with a shell casing and it has a wingbone mouthpiece. This is a rare combination from Mr. Buice. I wish we could have stayed longer, but we will get back down soon. Thank you for the awesome calls!
