Awesome day in the turkey woods

Walked over 2 miles and had one shot out from under us.  Go back to the truck and cut as one last ditch effort and one gobbled 100yds from the truck    He wouldn't cross the draw between us so we got on his ridge and yelped to locate him and guess where he was...if you guessed right where we were, you would be correct     got on his strut zone and set up and made a few calls and within minutes I could hear him drum and a few minutes later he was 8 yds away, looking for a hen.  I was able to swing on him and make it count...Thank you Lord.  The Morels were the first I've ever seen or heard of in SW AR...Soaked them in salt water, breaded them in egg, milk and flour and fried them in butter...I see why y'all yanks fall over each other trying to find them now
