This Able Veteran http://www.thisableveteran.org/ is an organization that we've supported for the last 2 years. It puts veterans together with a dog that can help them cope with the world after military service.

Last night we atteneded a graduation service for 6 veterans and their dogs. There were over 300 in the audience to witness this event. All 6 of these veterans were USMC, 5 from recent wars and 1 from Vietnam.

It was one of the most moving ceremonies that I've witnessed.

Training each dog cost over $25,000.00, all from donations of folks who want to in some small way, pay back these veterans for their service and let them know we care.

Please take a few moments to visit the site. You may know someone who could benefit from what This Able Veteran does.

Thanks,
Clark

I agree wholeheartedly. It was a pretty emotional experience for a lot of us.

I was standing with a group of 12 Marines throughout the entire program and I can tell you it meant a lot. There were times when there were few dry eyes in the house.
