choke fit?

my new ic choke has about an 1/8 in gap between end of barrel and choke of being flush, it is bottomed out all the way and tight is this normal

Shouldn't cause you any problems. I have two chokes that are the same way and has nèver been an issue.

It's normal. Just make sure the choke and barrel fit flush on the inside, that's where it matters.
