Decoy Restoring - Tire Shine

So I was cleaning my decoys off last night since they were pretty dirty from last season. I tried using some tire shine which gave them a shiny look and brought out the colors of the feathers. what are yalls thoughts on this? I think if used in moderation it would make it look more realistic

works well in moderation.have used on duck dekes before and does a good job of giving off the feather "sheen".dont over do it or you'll get a big shine.I usually spray a rag and wipe the decoy as opposed to spraying directly on the decoy then wiping off.
