First Wingbone

Well, I finally bought my first wingbone call this weekend at the Backwoods show in OKC.  I have been wanting a wingbone or a trumpet for a while and I just could not pass this one up!



This picture does not do it justice!  There is a turkey feather lacquered on the call and it is beautiful.  I have a bit of practicing to do, but I a can yelp with it relatively well!

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.
