Considering buying a Benelli SBE II, the model with the pistol grip. I'm currently shooting a Supernova. With 3" hevi 13 #6s it throws numbers from 220-230 at 40 yards. Nothing wrong with that, I've just always wanted a SBE. I'm just curious to see what kind of patterns people here are getting with their SBEs and how they have them set up. Thanks.

I'm shooting an Indian creek in mine with hevi 13 2.25 oz 7s in the 280s, and the Winchester ER 2oz 6s with a Wrights No. 3 choke in the 190s.

Got a 665 IC and with nitro Mega weight its average is 310 at 40 yards

I've patterned several SBE I's for myself and friends.  They have all been shooters with Indian Creek .665 chokes.  Here's a post I put on another forum:

QuoteAfter getting such great patterning results last year from my SBE "duck" gun and seeing good patterns from other Benelli's here on the forum, I decided I was going to get a Nova for sticky a turkey gun and put a Red Dot on it as I didn't want to drill and tap the "duck" gun and wanted a pistol/steady grip.  In the process of looking for a Nova, I ran across a deal on a 24" SBE.  I found a pistol grip or steady grip stock for it, had the barrel drilled/tapped/and Weaver rail mounted, and mounted a Burris FF II to the gun.  I wanted to get the gun dipped after I had the gunsmith work done, but I don't think I have enough time before turkey season.  So, I'm not going to chance it.  Here's some pics of the gun and patterns.

Shot some factory loaded Hevi-Shot 7's when I was dialing the Red Dot in.  Got some very nice results.  These were at 40 yards.

One at 20 yards just to see where the Red Dot was hitting.

Also, shot some of the TSS reloads.  The first was 2oz of TSS #9's at 40 yards and the second was 1oz of TSS #9's and 5/8oz Hevi-shot 7.5's at 40 yards.

Very happy with the end results and really liking the FF II.  It's going to be a bad year to be a turkey.

I killed several birds with that gun as did some friends before I went to my 20ga set up.  It was flat UNFAIR on turkeys when hunting with it.
