I'm thinking of going with one of these but can't decide which and whether 3 or 3.5. Also would a 660 be the best choke?

There is simply no difference in performance between either of those loads or shell lengths at 40 yds. All four combinations considered will kill every turkey every time at 40 yds if you do your part. We are not allowed on this site to discuss performance beyond that yardage.

You did not say what shotgun you have, so I can't give advice on choke size. It depends on bore diameter, which depends on gun make.

The Super Nova is an excellent gun, sharing the same barrel dimensions as the SBE/SBEII and Vinci. I've been shooting Benellis since 1991 when I bought my 1st SBE.

While your gun will of course chamber 3.5" shells, I recommend the 3" shell since it will do all that needs to be done and will allow you get back on target more quickly if you want or need to do that. I shoot Hevi-13 "Bronze" shells with 2 oz. of #6 and #7 shot and you can cleanly kill a turkey at 40 yards with either shell, in you properly choked SN.

Your gun uses "Mobil" threaded chokes and there are many available. The RR choke is an excellent one and if that's the one you choose, I'd recommend a .650 e.d. The Hevi-13 choke with an e.d. of .656, the SSX with an e.d. of .643 and the Wright's #3 with an e.d. of .650 are other excellent choices.

I would recommend that you "deep clean" the bore. Benelli shotguns have chrome-lined bores and can look clean even when they have a good bit of gunk in them. I've found that many Benellis shoot best with a very clean bore.

Thanks,
Clark

If you go with the Rob Roberts choke he will work with you until your happy. I swapped out 4 choke until i found the one my gun really liked. I would also look at sum toy, Indian Creek, all are great guys will go the extra mile to make you happy..

I would highly suggest the hevi 13 choke with the hevi 7 shot or the 6 shot for any reasonable range for turkeys as they will get the job done to 40 with plenty of wiggle room.

After doing a little more digging I'm also curious about the magnum blend 5,6,7's.

Thanks for all the great info so far. I'm trying to get everything set up seeing how I have a little more than 1 month before season starts. Thinking of buying the truglo gobble stopper scope. Should be a nice set up with the steady grip.

TurkeyCreek

I've killed birds at 40yds with 6 and 7 HEVI-13. Both of these are deadly with the right choke and a little time on the range patterning them. I've found that the Rhino and Indian Creek pattern the 7s very well and the HEVI Choke and Kicks pattern the 6s good.

I've killed birds with the blends,7s, and 6's all in 3" shells... they all will do the trick at 40 when choked well. I personally like the 6's so thats what I shoot

I run hevi13 #6s( 2.25 oz load) out of the 26" polished bore on my 870 super mag.  With a Sumtoy .650 I shoot over 250 in the 10 at 40yds.

I shoot well beyond the 40 yard limit set by the mods here on the forum but I also know the limitations of my gun (the range where my pattern decreases below 100 in the 10" circle).

I strongly favor 6's over 7's.  I like the kinetic energy delivered by em while still retaining the ability to post high numbers.
