Need some help guys.  Gonna buy a dsd hen at the convention, to go with my jake, but don't really know which to get.  Been leaning toward the breeder, but worry about it being visible enough later in the season, when the pastures and fields I hunt grow up some.  Probably end up with one of each in the end, but can only afford one per year...haha.  Which ones are you having the best success with, when paired with the jake and which ones work best alone?  Thanks.

I would start with the upright just for the visibility it provides. Then you can add the others later if you want the option to put out a big flock.

Get the upright first , you can take the stake out of it to use as a breeder , kick out a small depression 2-3 inches about the size of the sole your foot in the dirt in front of the gobbler/jake decoy  and place it there -  takes 5 seconds to do this

THIS.   I haven't bought a breeder, just because the upright hen works double duty.
