Howdy,
New member here...been lurking for a while...anyhow...

I recently picked up a Browning Auto 5 light 12 with a Miroku barrel. It accepts standard invector chokes.

I'm just looking for suggestions on where to start as far as a good choke and what 2.75" ammo to try.

A-5's are pretty good on ducks, but I have no experience with it for turkey hunting,  get your self some good turkey ammo ,and the chokes should be easy to locate with it being invector

Anyone use a standard invector choked gun?

Is it all trial and error even with the higher end stuff like Indian Creek and Trulock?

I shoot several Invector choked guns and there are 4 chokes that I recommend with that thread type. The Wright's, the Hevi-13, the JEB's and the SSX. They all have quite different designs, are priced differently but they all work very well.

That gun can be very effective for turkeys, properly choked and with the correct shotshells. I saw about 40 boxes of the original WXRHD shells with 1.5 oz. of #6 shot at a store the other day. That shell with either of those chokes would make your A-5 a potent turkey gun.

Thanks,
Clark
