Central CT spring turkey

I'm planning on hunting the first 4 days of the spring season in the Nathan Hale State Forest, Coventry CT. I muzzle load for deer here each December. I'm wondering about the amount of birds, and hunters in the area. I see lots of sign during my december hunt, and rarely see any hunters. I'm flying solo on this hunt as my deer partner doesnt turkey hunt. I'd be interested in other areas that would be worth visiting.
