Well, since the 870 folks won't answer, you'll have to hear from a Mossy owner.  It's a quality choke and should work fine with HTL if that is your preference.  I use mine for TSS 9s handloads.  I have both .555 and .570 for the Super Bantam 20.  I also have a .570 for my Baikal MP-18 single shot.  The .570 does great with 1 oz. TSS 9s in the Kyle Smith sabot load which uses a 28 gauge wad inside at 20 gauge wad.  Gil

I have one in .570 for my 870.  I also have a .570 Jelly Head and with Hevi Shot 6's the Jelley Head is just more consistant for me in my particular gun.  For the Heavy Weight 7's, the Carlson's non-ported .570 just WRECKES birds and throws patterns at 40 yards some guys wish they could get with their 12 gauges.  Don't get me wrong, the PG patterns well enough in my gun, just not as well as my Jelly Head.  I would be willing to sell it if you're interested...

I had not seen your post until today. I've had a number of folks who've had very good luck with the Pure Gold 20 gauge choke tubes. Since the "Tempest" was introduced (designed for the Federal Flitecontrol Wad shells but shoots others as well.) that's been the favorite in .555. I've had a lot of reports of killed birds using Hevi-13 shotshells, many with #7 shot.

Thanks,
Clark

The 555 PG was a great choke with the older H-13 #6 loads that are not available today.2006 or so production, big turkey on box.
The  Truglo SSX and Sumtoy chokes are two chokes that shoot very well with the H-13 and Fed HW loads in my guns . With all the changes in shot size, powder, wads and all it seems to be a crap shoot between the 550, 562, and 570 chokes as the best chokes for a shell. When it gets down to 30 yard and under shots it really doesn't seem to matter in #6 or #7 shot as for killing turkeys.
A 20 gauge from 30 -40 yards is a whole nother animal and you need to decide for yourself.

Depends on what load you're shooting. For Fed 7s I would go with a Sumtoy or Truglo SSX. A standard PG .570 shot Hevi 7s fairly well for me. I haven't tried a PG tempest with the Feds but have seen patterns from others on here. I don't think they worked out as expected.
