Sorry guys that I've been a little absent lately....between work and the teenage daughter things have been a little hectic...well more like chaos
However, it will pay off in the end!! Why you ask...well both the ER and the flight crew team have had some staffing issues and lets just say that over the last 4 weeks....on top of my full time schedule...I have been able to rack up 90 hrs of overtime!!!!
I have also just realized and been informed that my vacation hours that are banked and I earn every month are maxed out....so...you say?? Well that means that I HAVE to take vacation over the next two months or I will start to loose vacation hours.....awe shucks...I was so looking forward to working during the turkey killin seasons!!! BAAAA HAAAA HAAAA This is gonna sound crazy but I was given a couple days off the schedule right now and the shifts were posted as overtime for anyone to pick up...well it turns out that no one picked them up...so I signed up for them...at an OT rate of pay
so not only do I get the vacation pay for the days...but I also came in and worked the shifts at premium pay...go figure...
I'm just giddy and had to share.....
So in the big scheme of things...it looks like I will have plenty of time off to persue on of the best things out there...CHASIN TURKS!!!! AND BUSTIN HEADS!!!!!
