It sounds like it's a flush mounted choke, correct? There could be a couple of reasons that it's stuck. It could be rusted in place or it could have expanded and be locked in place. Many times, if it's rusted, you can allow the muzzle to soak in some penetrating oil, WD-40, Kroil or some such and then you may be able to remove it with a good choke wrench. Patience is the key.

If it has expanded into the threads, that may not work. If you try too hard, you may damage the slots in the choke and make it even more difficult to remove.

You may be able to heat the muzzle, as has been suggested and that may work to loosen it but I always have a bit of concern about too much heat damaging the barrel. Unless you have some experience doing that, I'd be very cautious about trying it.

If you have access to a local gunsmith or if not, if you're willing to send it to one, it may be money well spent. They have tools and experience that can help greatly in that process.

Thanks,
Clark

Se this all the time.  Duck hunter is bad about it.  :TrainWreck1:

Spray with PB Blaster and let set a few.  Then heat it up.  BE CAREFUL not to get burned.  If it not come out spray it one more time and the heat will help it soak in around the choke.  Most the time they come out.  If it dont let it set with the oil on it to the next day.  99.9% will come out.   :anim_25:

It will probably destroy the tube but save the barrel. Mossberg chokes (win choke) are pretty cheap.  Barrels are not.

I can see that it looks expanded like maybe they put a slug tru it but i dont know i may just have him find a gunsmith so i dont just bunk up the barrel

I'd say that's a wise choice. If you can't find one locally, barrels are relatively inexpensive to ship via USPS and there are several smiths that could take care of that for you.
