I really didn't know what I was going to talk about until this afternoon. I went to visit a friend in the hospital today, we have been friends for about 20 years. I am ashamed that I really didn't know whether or not he was a Christian, praise God he is so when I prayed with him it made it a lot easier. I realized that when we were both younger I never felt comfortable talking about God with him. I guess what I'm trying to get at is sometimes we need to forget about what is comfortable and step outside the box and do what it takes to make sure they have God in there life. This young man was in a bad wreck and they had to take his leg today, I know it is going to be a struggle getting back to life. I just can't imagine what it would be like to do this without God in your life. So if there is someone in your life today that you're really not sure of, take the time to ask because it's what were instructed to do.

Dear Lord, thank you for all the blessings in my life, Lord please give me the confidence when I really don't feel comfortable talking to someone about Your great love for us. Please forgive me for the times that I didn't take the opportunity to spread Your great word to people who may be in need. In Jesus name I pray!! Amen

Have a great week,
Jody

Jody,

Often, when prompted to talk to someone about his/her salvation, I often worry about what to say, or how to say it.

I'm not sure why though, because each time, the Holy Spirit has given the right words, and the way to say it........

as it is the Holy Spirit, who is the prompter.

I'm glad to read your friend has eternal salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ!!

Thank you for the accountability in sharing the Lord's salvation.

God Bless,
David B.

I know that feeling well Jody. You know from being around me that I have no problem talking, sometimes a little too much. But my main problem when it comes to talking about God and His mercy and promises boils down to one thing- CONFIDENCE! Right now I lack the condifence I need to spread the Word. Now that I am studying God's word more frequently, hopefully He will give me the confidence I need
Pray as if everything depends on God, work like everything depends on you

Thanks, Jody.  Helps to remember we're not speaking of ourselves, but Christ and Him crucified.  This is the objective truth we have the freedom to share!   Its the best message anyone can receive!     :jesus-cross:
