I'd like to ask prayer for our nation as we enjoy the fruits of what our servicemen and women fought for.
Help us to put Jesus back into the US!

I am quickly losing hope for this Nation. The moral decline is downright scary!  I will continue to pray to God for a miracle though.
I have served my country, noth in the armed forces and still now as a police officer. Granted, my view may be skewed a bit as I seem to deal only with the worst that there is, but what I see and read on the news only confirms my fears.
We NEED God back in this country if we ever want to see the glory of what once was.
Pray as if everything depends on God, work like everything depends on you

Misfire--- :thanks:...for your service, now and then!!!That is one of my most fervent prayers for our nation as well! I also pray for people such as yourself, that see the worst side of people far too often.  :cross2:

Thanks to all that have served in the armed forces, every branch, and our local police and firefighters that keep us safe and protect our communities :smiley-patriotic-flagwaver-an

This is definitely an area that greatly concerns me.  I listen to American Family Radio Talk often while at work.  They basically present the events of the day from a Biblical viewpoint.  They share a lot of things that the big 3 TV networks won't touch, and give a much different angle on many of the big newsmaking issues.  Too much of it can get overwhelming to me.

I sometimes get caught up in the complaining mode rather than the praying mode, and complaining won't get anything accomplished.

I heard someone on the radio this weekend talking about the days after 9/11.  Even politicians were asking American people to pray.  Just like in our personal lives, it often takes a tragedy or great trial to bring us to our knees, to get us to focus on God as our provider.  If we as Christians don't begin to exercise our rights to pray, to seek and to worship God, we may find ourselves losing even those freedoms.

Thanks for your post.
