Got me a few blades from WoodCraft in this style to make some knives for friends and family. The top of the blade wasn't sharpened so I ground the side in then sharpened the top like the bottom part of the blade, I cut the handles from some plexi-glass sheet I have, couldn't decide on orange or yellow, but I think this color came out ok. Measures 11 - 1/2" total with 1 - 3/8" deep blade .... I Did the log bark pattern on the handles  with a dremel....what you think? pappy

Very nice.  I would love a knife with a bright orange handle for using in the woods so I do not misplace it.

:agreed:  Seems like I am always searching for mine especially after gutting deer just before dark. Very nice looking knifes though...

Looks good!!!

Was wondering about how the handles were done.

Did it take a long time with the dremel?

God Bless,

Thank you for all you comments, the color choice was due to the fact that I have lost knives before, thought bright yeller would be easier to find, the orange is next on my list. Took an hour to do the handles with the dremel. My next trial is going to be some fillet knives.....pappy
