Can you use a Red dot sight in Nebraska? The regs say no light projecting sight.

A red dot is not light projecting, those are laser sights.

OK thanks. Didn't know to what degree of light projection the regs might apply to, but I get it now.

I never thought about checking the regs before using mine out there, but I did have a nice (and not so nice) 2 hour conversation with a CO that checked everything from my truck to I think the clothes on my back and I'm sure if they were illegal he would have nicely mentioned it like he mentioned everything else his buddy "thought" we were doing.
BigAl is right though, they are not considered "light projecting".
