A friend recently gave me a pot call that was made by his father. Included in it was both a hickory striker and an acrylic one. He told me that he preferred the acrylic because the sound would not change. I guess my question is this: If they are that good; why aren't all or at least most made of it? Is it hard to work with or maybe to tune? I know this might be a dumb question but am curious and thought this might be the place to get answers.
Thanks!
