Kee Kee help

I have been trying to get my kee kees down on a diapham. They only way I produce a good sounding one is by putting the tip of my tongue on the left front corner of the reeds agianst the frame and forcing the air between it. The call also has to be slightly cocked with the left side forward of the right. The sound I'm looking for is there, but I'd like to get a little louder with it. When I try to force more air the reeds vibrate to much and it sounds like sick yelp.

Was hoping somebody could clue me in on how they do it.

What type of mouth call are you using? The kee-kee is easier made with a single, double or triple reed call. You need to put more tongue pressure against the diaphram and say kee-kee-kee or pee-pee-pee. Hope this has helped you some.

I think a ghost cut like Tom Teasers Cracked Corn or the wing cut of the Butt Naked hen is easier than a straight reed.  

How to get better?  Move your tongue around and find the clearest part of the call and work on it from there.

Ghost cut will advance you much more quickly than any other call.straight reed calls are so yesterday and lack turkey.

Definitely ghost cut. Push the tongue into the cut and give it the kee kee kee.
