Any thoughts about this choke?  I'm using an older Rem 870, 3" with a 28" barrel.  Read alot of reviews on Bass Pro, Cabelas, etc.. Seems guys having good luck with this choke and Hevi-13 or Mag Blends.  Looking at shooting the Mag blends or Hevi-13 #6s. Narrowed down between this and an IC tube.  The Jellyhead is about $30 cheaper, means another box of shells if it does as good as the IC.

I have heard that the remingtons really like them!  I know that my Super X2 did!

Depends on the load? My Rem. likes the factory choke better than the 2 jellies I tried .660 &.665 when using 3.5 Hevi 6's.

I sure hope my Rem does, it was shipped today .660 in a 870 SPS Supermag

Thanks for the replies guys.  Seems like the Hevi loads are the key, they tend to pattern good in several different chokes.  Again read a ton of reviews of people using the Jellyhead, IC, Carlson's and Hevi chokes.  Kind of thinking about saving $30-40 on a choke, if the loads are gonna pattern really well with the other chokes and use that $$ to buy more ammo! Hoping for good results with 28" barrel, 3" shells.

Dollar for dollar the jellyhead is tuff to beat. Might not do the best, but it's usually not far off.

The Jellyhead comes in 2 constrictions for Remingtons.  The .660 tube is the one to use if you"re shooting Hevi #7's.  For the Hevi #6's, I'd go with the .665 tube.
