Devotional for Sat: 2-18 "Don't forget"

When it seems that trouble is coming from all directions, we pray harder; then when God shows compassion and brings us out of life's storm, we seem to pray less; we should never forget where our blessings come from and we should always be thankful, but do we? do we give God enough praise? are we mindful of him in ALL things? "In ALL things, give thanks" but I'm afraid that our complaints out weighs the praise; please remember that we are nothing without him and without him, we can do NOTHING, but with Him we can do EVERYTHING; don't forget to be thankful for all things and give God the praise that he so deserves;

I'm working on trying to remember to open my prayer time with praise and thanks instead of just "gimme, gimme, gimme."  Thanks for the devotionals!
