I have a 835 with a 24" barrel and I am trying to decide between the two chokes. If anyone has my set up and could tell me what choke tends to do better on this model gun it would really help my decision thanks.

You will get sevral reponses on this but the answer is Both, they are both backed up by the manufacturer and both top quality chokes, I've never shot the Pure Gold but know people that do and most swear by it,Indian Creek is a great choke also, You can't go wrong with either choke!

Here is what a Pure Gold did in my 835.  It has a 24" barrel and I was shooting Hevi 6s 3.5" 2.25 oz.  I really liked the choke but it did not out preform my Star Dot.  May get another for the back up 835.  Here is the picture (40 yards with rangefinder):

The PG is a tank and shoots great hunting patterns.  I've owned and shot plenty of indian creek chokes and the jury is still out for me on the overall design.  The IC shoots good, but I don't really care for the parallel porting or wad catchers.  Just my opinion.

Both are great chokes, I like the PG better.

My experience with each choke in 2 different guns is that both shoot pretty much the same.  There's not a ounce of difference between the 2.

The Pure Gold .670 outshot the IC choke in my 24"gun.

The IC throws very dense patterns of Win XR #6's from my 835 with 28"
